The owners of Screen Tech/Spraye Tech have branched out to launch a separate operation in their Fairfield, NJ facility. The supplier now specializes in sorting, culling and refurbishing defective or rejected packaging components.

The new business, appropriately named “Sort It Out” separates rejects from glass, plastic or any other type components. The process is carried out by hand, performed with a white light under a magnifying glass.

Customers advise which defects to look for, providing direction in advance, so the process is customizable according to a brand’s specific needs.

The culling process may be necessary due to a defect the supplier has become aware of or a component that has been rejected by a customer. “Sort It Out” will repack the product, sending it on its way to the supplier or customer.
